The Michigan Outdoor Writers Association (MOWA) held its 82nd annual conference May 8-10 in Baldwin Michigan’s Pere Marquette River Lodge. Some of Michigan’s best trout fishing streams and rivers – most notably the Pere Marquette River and the Baldwin River pass through Baldwin. Other outdoor activities abound including bass and walleye fishing, turkey hunting, morel hunting, camping, and of course hiking the nearby North Country Trail.

Baldwin was a great location for an outdoor-themed gathering of writers, radio, and television hosts.
